6 year long player here. Epic Seven has been powercrept beyond belief. The kits of units have gotten too loaded and too complicated to enjoy the game. Playstyle doesn't matter. You're forced to always use the newest units whenever you can or lose. Problems are created, more powerful units to solve those problems are created in response, who become problems themselves - repeat cycle. It's just dumb at this point. And if you lack any of the blanket slate solution units, you can't play E7.

I have to give out 4/5 because of the latest issues with the game. If the new Automaton Tower and Episode 2 of the Main Story was a bit better I would have given 5/5. There are some other issues at the moment but I will explain those a bit later down. Just for some Background info, I played this game for 3 Months now and I almost cleared all the Endgame have the Hunts on Autofarm and I didn't invest more than a few bucks. - First of all the game is very beautiful. Especially the Animations and Units are very well designed and most of the skills look really cool. In my opinion, it is possible to play this game as a F2P player and to be honest if you really want to spend money to win you have to invest A LOT. If you want to play this without paying anything you really have a chance since the game has some mechanics that make even 3 Star units viable. - The game has some issues at the moment in terms of PVP balancing, some units are really really hard to deal with. Also the Automaton Tower that was meant for "newer" players cannot be cleared without a specialized set of Heroes so that kinda backfired. Improvements need to be done quickly

So, heres the thing. After 2 years I've noticed a pattern in my playstyle that I don't seem to like and it's most definitely the games fault. What I mean is that I create and delete my EU account over and over after getting to the 2nd story or whatever they call it, that's simply because after that battles take far too long and unless you have high tier Gear, which isn't guaranteed, you'll most likely fail. I really wish the game was more user friendly, not all of us pay or grind day & night.
