I highly recommend avoiding this company! They mislead you during the car reservation process. After I completed the rental, they sent me a bill for 54% more!!! The additional fees weren't displayed in the app, the manager didn't mention anything when I ordered, and I provided the amount specified when paying. After I paid and the trip began, I received a bill for a second, higher amount. After the trip ended, I received another bill for a third, even higher amount😂

The app and the service is mostly fine, but I am not going to use them anymore because of their silly practice of reserving 20€ upfront for every ride. In most cases this is refunded quickly, but in some cases you wait weeks to get your money back. Call me old fashioned, but I think it's unethical to lock people's money away like this. It might not be Sixt's fault if the money takes so long to be refunded, but it's their choice as a business to hold the 20€ deposit in the first place.

I had very bad experiences with this car sharing service. Last time I could not end the rental for 20 minutes, because of an error. It is basically impossible to reach the support through phone (they said that the waiting time would be 12 minutes, no one answered even after 25 mins, then I gave up), so if you have a problem with the car you have to solve it for yourself. Before that they did not send me the voucher for refueling. They do not answer to emails either. Avoid this service.
