Will those red archers ever understand that this is not how you ask your neighbour for a pinch of salt? If you fancy joining a neighbourhood dispute that’s got slightly out of hand, welcome to Archery Bastions: Castle War, an artillery shooter with a serious shortage of neighbourly manners.
Okay… We’re blue. And we’re archers.
And we have a castle (sort of, thanks to our designer).
We need someone to aim our stickman archers at theirs. Capture the enemy’s castle, knock down their towers, that sort of thing. If you’ve played archery games before, you’ll get the idea. If you haven’t, please remember which colour we are.
From time to time our friend, a big purple troll on a flimsy balloon, visits us. Sounds like we need a rest, but take our word for it, he does exist. You’ll meet him on level 6. Nobody’s told the balloon how much he weighs.
What else?…
Grass is ever green. Enemies are ever red.
How this bow and arrow war started, nobody remembers. But we kick their bottoms each level. We’ve had a player reach level 1,576, and the reds were still… reds.
They keep bringing bigger armies and stronger towers, though. So we upgrade our archers, hire mercenaries and try different arrows. A little battle strategy helps. “Somewhere over there” worked better when they had fewer castles.
Oh, almost forgot—our magician is a genius. Recently he worked out how to summon ground troops, double our arrows and call in a hero when castle defence gets a bit too exciting. Then came firework arrows, so our neighbours celebrate New Year with every castle siege.
And flying pigs. Don’t ask us why. We thought we were making a bow and arrow game too.
Anyway, between shooting arrows and watching the magician turn another perfectly ordinary castle battle into an incident, we’re having a good time.
And you’re invited.
Download the game and we’ll see you on the other side of the screen. Bring your archery skills. We’ll supply the questionable company.
P.S. Call your boss and take a day off before joining the party. We said “one more battle” three castles ago.
You’re blue. They’re red. Only one will stand your ground.
