Looks sleek&shiny, but this sleekness comes with the price that you can't zoom out with only one hand... Kind of unpractical if you're standing somewhere in the Swiss Alps and it's -10°C. Honestly, the app looks great, but it's just annoying to use. Menus are convoluted, everything is different than in any other map app. Somebody tried to reinvent the wheel, the result is frustrating. The maps are great though, of course.

You can zoom with one finger by double-tapping on the screen and staying on the screen with the second tap and sliding at the same time. Kind regards swisstopo

fantastic app. creating amd exporting routes has become more reliable and easy for me. it does unfortunately require internet to reliably display the national map while on the go, despite the ability to download offline maps. i discovered that the base map does work well offline, so thats great. the ability to show winter maps and layers of diverse information is incredible. thanks to the developers. zero ads and no paywall.

Good app, but importing routes from the website map.geo.admin.ch is broken. If you have multiple tracks in a single route, they all get concatenated and only the name of the first route is retained. Meaning you have to manually separate the routed before exporting/importing them.

Hello, that is correct. Linked routes are recognised and displayed by the app as a single route. It is necessary to record them separately. Thank you for your understanding, swisstopo
What’s new
New in the Aviation topic: The two layers, “Residential areas” and “UAS Awareness Zones”, are now available.
