Their ad system has gotten way worse and almost predatory compared to the competition. You're getting 1 min of add at the beginning of an episode/movie, and then one after 10 min. For series, I can tolerate seeing a longer ad before an episode of 20-60 min and then get no interruption during the episode. I stopped using YouTube for the similar bad practice. For longer content, I could watch an ad at the start and an ad in the middle positioned where it doesn't disrupt the flow of the story.

What's the point of offline downloads if you can't access them offline? I'm in an area with limited Internet and the app is terrible for this. I downloaded episodes in advance : sometimes the app doesn't launch, or it logs me out even when I've logged in 1 hour ago, sometimes it shows an error code, or a generic error message (no code). Most of the time I can't access my downloads. When I can, they WILL buffer. When they don't buffer, the won't start playing. Disneyplus is not reliable

CANNOT PLAY "DOWNLOADED" CONTENT! Im so relieved I've seen several other reviews mentioning this too. I downloaded a lot for my flight, only to find out that the Disney+ app physically CANNOT open itself without internet. It completely ruined the journey over something that I thought was the bare minimum. When the app does it's regular booting-up routine, it is quickly met with "network error" instead. There is absolutely no escaping this result, so I can't even get to to the downloads page
